The Challenge & Vision
Two weeks, no extensions, and 900 square metres across nine classrooms and the main corridor spine. Term dates do not move. The floor also had to meet the department's slip rating for a school corridor and survive a decade of trolleys, chairs and a great deal of running.
The Solution
Two crews worked from opposite ends of the corridor spine and met in the middle on day eight, with classrooms completed in parallel behind them. We specified AC5 commercial laminate — the grade above what a school brief usually calls for — because the replacement cost of a second term-break shutdown dwarfs the material difference.

Project Roadmap
Twelve working days inside a fourteen-day term break, with two days in hand.
Day 1: Audit
Slab moisture tested across all nine classrooms and the corridor spine.
Day 2–3: Prep
Old vinyl lifted, slab ground and levelled ahead of the two crews.
Day 4–10: Fit
Corridor worked from both ends inward, classrooms completed in parallel.
Day 11–12: Handover
Trims fitted, full clean, and sign-off two days before students returned.
